“I always wished to create something like this.”

I can’t count how many times I’ve heard, “I always wished to create something like this.” And every time, I feel this quiet ache… because I wished it too. For so long.

It’s wild how many of us carry the same dream, but it takes so many twists and pauses, doubts and detours, before someone finally says, “Let’s.”

I still don’t know exactly where The Grounds is headed. And maybe that’s the point. Because I don’t ever want it to end.
I don’t want it to be a “finished” thing.

I want it to keep growing, keep softening, keep evolving with the people who gather here.
We are a flow space.
We listen. We feel. We respond.

And if something is needed,
we do it! I often say it, “what do you want to do? … Let’s!”

Giving thanks, today and everyday

The days at The Grounds have been brimming with gratitude—so much so that not a single day passes without me saying out loud how magical you all make my life. Building this space has been one of the greatest privileges of my journey, and through it, I’ve come to witness the extraordinary beauty of our community. It’s taught me that true connection and shared experiences are the most precious gifts we can offer one another. Sitting around a table with you all isn’t just fulfilling; it’s life-giving.

I’ve often imagined a dining table in my mind—a table where only the most special people in my life could sit. I used to think the seats were limited, meant to hold only a select few. But now I see it differently. It was never about a table with finite chairs; it was always meant to be something larger—a room, a field, a gathering space. It was always meant to be The Grounds.

Thank you—today and every day,
